Numerous activities for people of all ages are being held at Lake Red Rock over the next few days.
Young artists are invited to the Kids’ Craft Day from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the Visitor Center. Two evenings of Stargazing 101 will be held on Friday and Saturday at 9 p.m. at Whitebreast Campground. Dr. Lee Wymore, amateur stargazer and biology teacher at Indian Hills, will identify stars and constellations with participants.
Nature Science will be held at 9 a.m. at the Visitor Center Saturday, followed by a Tree I.D. Hike at Whitebreast Campground at 10:00 that morning. Let’s Go Paddling will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Creek for anyone 10 years old or older to try canoeing and kayaking. A Red Rock Wildlife presentation will be held at North Overlook Campground at 7 p.m.
Activities are free of charge and do not require pre registration.
