No. 3 in our Pella Christian countdown hits the cross country track for a young freshman who qualified in a loaded Class 2A field for distance runners.

Emma Kolb nabbed a spot at the state tournament at the District Meet on October 19th, in a district meet that featured the eventual 1st and 2nd place in the state Hostetler sisters of Mid-Prairie.

Kolb finished 4th in Pella to qualify, and finished 14th overall in a 2A field that featured 12 runners finishing in under 20 minutes.
