Central College will host a feedback session on Iowa’s State Service Plan.
Volunteer Iowa is part of a network of state service commissions fostering bi-partisan, state-level service initiatives and promoting a vision and ethic of service. Every three years, Volunteer Iowa drafts a state service plan, which serves as a blueprint for identifying priorities, themes and areas of emphasis for Iowa national service and volunteer programs. The public is invited to the session on Monday, August 13th from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Graham Annex.
Pre-registration is requested but not required. Registration for all in-person sessions is available online. Participants can review a copy of the current State Service Plan in advance of the listening sessions on the Volunteer Iowa website.
