A Knoxville man was arrested on burglary and false imprisonment charges Wednesday.
According to court records, Knoxville Police were dispatched to a report of a burglary and assault, where victims stated that Dalton Comer, 28, had forced entry into a home. After gaining entry, Comer assaulted a victim, stole another’s phone, and locked a victim into a bedroom preventing them from calling 911. After eventually giving the phone back, Comer fled the scene once emergency services were called.
Comer is charged with burglary in the 1st degree, a class B felony, two counts of false imprisonment, two counts of criminal mischief in the 4th degree, obstructing emergency communications, and a parole violation.
