Nearwood Winery is closing their tasting room location on the downtown square tomorrow, in order to relocate to their newly constructed facility on Highway 14.
Owner Mike Van Natta tells KNIA/KRLS News the new location provides much more space and will expand production, but will also allow a better atmosphere because being social is a big part of why they operate the winery and its said in the business that very few people come to the winery and leave less happy than when they came and Nearwood wants to live up to that. The new location is south of Knoxville at 1699 Highway 14, and open on August 20th
