The PCM volleyball team saw improvements in the program a year ago and will look to keep the momentum going in 2018.
Last year the Mustangs went 10-20, a four-win improvement from 2016 and that is tied for the most wins since the 2008 season. The Mustangs will need some new faces to step up, as they lost team leaders in assists, digs, and blocks. Offensively the Mustangs will rely on the experience of Maddie Samson, as she returns for her senior campaign leading the team with 116 kills in 2017. Jacki Vos will provide security at the net, as she managed 10 blocks as a freshman. Athletic Director Greg Bonnett tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he sees the program moving in the right direction noting the team cohesion and motivation continues to develop.
The Mustangs will open up their season August 21st at Nevada for an invitational.
