The Rotary Club of Knoxville recently donated $25,000 to the Knoxville Library to go towards the Knoxville Library Expansion Project.
In May of 2017, the Rotary Club pledged to assist the library in the project, and Mark Worrall with Rotary tells KNIA/KRLS News this donation is fulfilling that pledge and makes the Rotary very proud to do so, and the donation fits right in the Rotary’s mission of service above self while making the community a better place. On hand for the presentation of the check were Rotary members Harv Sprafka, Don Croghan, Rotary Co-President Larry Formanek and Library Director, Roslin Thompson.
