After historical track and cross-country seasons, PCM has earned the reputation of being a running school.
The girls’ cross country team qualified for the program’s first ever state appearance and the track teams had numerous top eight finishes including Noah Anderson winning a title in the 200m dash. Athletic Director Greg Bonnett tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the school has a running culture.
“Our participation in just about any running event in the area is outstanding. Between Coach Karr, Martin, and Harrison we are building a culture of individuals being a successful runner not just now, but for life.”
The cross-country teams will start up the new season August 23rd at Iowa State University for a meet.
