The Pella Public Library is bringing back their culture series this fall.
On Tuesday, they will hold the first of three monthly events. The first speaker is Paulina Mena, sharing about her life in Chile. Paulina will show off the amazing natural beauty of Chile, from the driest desert in the world in the north, to The Patagonia in the south with temperate forests, mountains and glaciers. In addition, she will present the geography, customs, food and politics of the country and her experiences growing up there. There will be a chance to taste traditional soups as well. Culture Night: Chile takes place at 7 p.m. in Room 206 of the Pella Community Center, 712 Union St. This program is free and open to the public.
