Pella scored less than a minute into the game and never looked back in a 56-6 win over South Tama last night in a game heard live on www.kniakrls.com.
Seven different players found the end zone for Pella – Aaron Downs twice, Sam Warner, Gabe Thomas, Logan Shetterly, Treyton Sturgeon, Warren Page and Derrick Hackman.
Twelve different players carried the ball, five Little Dutch receivers caught passes, and coach Jay McKinstrey says that everyone got into the action.
“It feels good to get a lot of kids into the game, everyone got in there tonight, and they were able to do things.  It was neat to see that all the time and effort they put into practice and the offseason that they got to show their skills tonight.”
Pella improves to 6-0 on the season and will play at Oskaloosa next Friday.
