A Knoxville woman faces charges of child endangerment and domestic assault with a weapon, after police say they saw video of the incident.
Twenty-six-year-old Alyssa Terrell was taken into custody by Knoxville police on Tuesday, after investigators received an e-mail from a concerned party. It included video of an incident about one month prior in which Terrell reportedly brandished a knife; she at first appeared to threaten to damage a truck, but police say she then pointed it at an adult man…and then in the direction of a child.
Police say Terrell was questioned and didn’t deny the incident, but said she couldn’t remember much of it and may have “blacked out.”
The victim gave police the knife he says was used in the incident; detectives say it exceeds eight inches in length.
