A mix of light rain and snow will lead into the likely end of the growing season overnight tonight into Monday morning.
A Freeze Watch has been issued for most of central Iowa through Monday morning, with overnight lows expected to drop below freezing. Throughout today, a cold front will bring light rain and breezy winds, turning into snow by the evening. Little to no accumulation is expected, however, roads may be slick as temperatures dip to near and eventually below freezing. After a cooler Monday, temperatures are expected to rebound into the mid-50s for daytime highs through Friday.
