The class 2A region 5 volleyball quarterfinal matchups are set, as Pleasantville and Pella Christian now know their opponent for next week.

Last night Interstate-35 defeated Martensdale St. Marys three sets to one to set up a showdown with the Trojans on Monday. Pleasantville swept the Roadrunners in their only matchup of the year back on September 4th. In the other game Cardinal defeated Pekin three sets to one to advance to play Pella Christian next week. This will mark the first meeting of the year for the two schools.

Both Pleasantville and Pella Christian will host the matchups on Monday at 7 p.m. The winners will then face off October 25th in Pleasantville.
