Candidates are coming to the area, and to the airwaves, with the general election less than two weeks away.
Marion County Board of Supervisors candidate Stanley Bingham will be at Smokey Row in Pella on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Secretary of Agriculture candidate Tim Gannon is in Knoxville at the Democratic Party Headquarters on Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
And Lt. Governor Candidate Rita Hart will be in Pella from 9:30 to 10:15 on Friday at the Roe Center, 2nd floor Suite 231 on the campus of Central College.
On the air, a KNIA/KRLS Special Edition News Magazine involving candidates for the Marion County Board of Supervisors will air live on Thursday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on KNIA and KRLS.
There will also be a simulcast KNIA/KRLS Special Edition News Magazine for the House 28th District contest between Jon Thorup and Ann Fields on Tuesday, October 30th from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., also simulcast on KNIA and KRLS.
And in a KRLS Special Edition News Magazine, 79th District GOP Candidate Dustin Hite will meet Libertarian Party candidate Nicholas Ryan on Thursday, November 1st in a discussion to be aired on KRLS from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
