The Pella Public Library will host an eight-week course of introductory American Sign Language.

The program will be held on Tuesday nights from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., beginning October 30. Classes will cover basic vocabulary and grammar used in American Sign Language as well as conversational uses and aspects of deaf culture. The classes are intended for ages 14 and older.
