This year’s Bravo Concert Series at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center gets underway tonight, with a performance by a band which music fans and insiders believe is on the way up.
Farewell Angelina will be in performance starting at 7 o’clock at the K-PAC; this all-female quartet takes its name from a song by Bob Dylan, and critics have lauded all four members for their vocal style and multi-instrument talent.
This show caps a busy evening on the Knoxville High School campus; parent-teacher conferences will be held in the afternoon and evening, and the Music Boosters will host a spaghetti dinner fundraiser for the school choir trip to New York.
This show is the start of this year’s Bravo series; coming up on January 31st is magician Justin Flom, followed on March 29th by the Chicago tribute band Transit Authority.
The Colorado Children’s Chorale will wrap up the season on April 25th.
