Pella will once again be well-represented at the state cross country meet this Saturday in Fort Dodge.

Both the boys and girls teams, who are ranked by the Iowa High School Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, will be highlighted in the Class 3A races beginning at noon.

Two athletes from Indianola and two from Melcher-Dallas will compete in the individual state cross country meet this Saturday held at Kennedy Park in Fort Dodge. Indianola’s runners include Ashley Rockhold and Eric Baldus, who will compete in the class 4A girls and boys races Saturday morning at 11am and 11:30am respectively. Melcher-Dallas is sending J’Lyn Knutson and Emery Sage and will run in the class 1A competitions later in the afternoon at 2pm and 2:30pm.
