The Warren County Economic Impact Celebration and Awards event was held Thursday at the Great Hall at Simpson College.
The business of the year award went to T.R.M. Disposal LLC in Indianola, Houston’s on Main won the Top Business in a Community under 3,000 Population award, the best Industrial/Manufacturer/Producer award went to Capital City Fruit of Norwalk, GRIT Performance 515 of Indianola took home the Most Innovative New Service Award, the New Business of the Year Award went to Crosscut Custom Carpentry, and the Social Station Cafe was awarded the best Woman-Owned Business. Area businesses were also recognized for being veteran owned businesses, exporters, and longevity. A full list of businesses receiving special recognition is below.
