A journey back to the UNI Dome is the primary goal for Pella Christian’s class of senior football players.

The Eagles have advanced to the round of eight for the second consecutive season. Senior Special Teams Specialist Lawson Bruxvoort tell KRLS Sports it’s been their goal since last year’s semifinals loss to get back to compete with the elite of Class 1A.

“It would be amazing,” he says. “Last year was so cool, to be the first team [at P.C.] to get to the dome, and that just put some blood our mouths to get back to it. It was a terrible loss to Regina [in 2017], we were heartbroken, but I think it gives us more motivation to get right back at it.”

Pella Christian travels to Bellevue Friday evening, with kickoff at 7 p.m. Listen to the broadcast starting at 6:30 p.m. on 92.1 KRLS.
