One of the recently completed milestones at the Red Rock Hydroelectric Project has made for a smoother ride over the Red Rock Dam.

Vern Cochran with Missouri River Energy Services tells KRLS News Ames Construction, the Marion County Road Department, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers collaborated to compete the different sections of the road. Cochran says the road repairs were needed, as large equipment had produced some wear and tear, and adds crews were able to make significant improvements to the pavement.

The Red Rock Hydroelectric Project is expected to be complete in the first half of 2020.
