The Indianola Indians football team will have to replace the passing skills of senior signal caller Quinn Vesey (vee-see), who was lost to graduation.
Vesey threw for just under 1,000 yards on the season and just three touchdowns for the run-heavy Indians, whose top targets were both running backs out of the backfield as Dylan Hildreth and Kolby Kolarik led the team in receiving. Junior Brady Wireman was the only other Indian to attempt a pass this season, going 3 for 8 for 41 yards and an interception. The Indians ended the season with a 6-4 record and lost in the first round of the class 4A state playoffs.
