KNIA Radio is excited to announce that we are continuing to grow our listening area of full service radio to now include the Indianola and Warren County Area.
94.3 FM is now on the air, joining 95.3 FM to our Flagship 1320 AM KNIA to continue our coverage of Knoxville and Marion County while expanding to the west to also cover the Indianola and Warren County Area.
Senior General Manager Jim Butler says this is a project that has been in the works for several years and says we are looking forward to providing the same award winning news, sports and weather coverage to that area, while continuing to serve Knoxville and Marion County just as we have in the past and assures listeners in Knoxville and Marion County that the local news and information they have come to expect will continue, guaranteed.
A new studio is being opened on the Indianola downtown square that will house a full time news, sports, weather and sales team as well as the 94.3 FM transmitter and antenna.
KNIA & KRLS Radio continues to be committed to full service radio, giving our listeners award winning coverage of today’s news and local information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Butler stated that he is proud of the entire staff, as it takes a lot of dedicated and committed staff who work many hours to provide full service radio broadcasting that KNIA and KRLS are known for. He also wants to thank Mel and Michael Suhr for their continued commitment to deliver the very best in local news and information to all of our listeners. Butler also said that this is just the first phase of this project and that listeners in Marion, Warren County, and surrounding areas can expect more ways to get your local news and information in the coming months.
