Despite a loss to Dubuque last Saturday afternoon at Buxton Stadium that knocked the Simpson Storm out of the American Rivers Conference title race, the Simpson Storm can still enjoy their best season under head coach Matt Jeter’s tenure.

Now in his third season at the helm, Jeter has improved every season, started 3-7 in 2016, 5-5 in 2017, and now sit at 6-3 going up against winless Buena Vista in their season finale. The Storm also currently sit as the only conference loss for Wartburg this season, who was the conference favorite at the start of the season.
