Most of south central Iowa saw the first major snowfall of the winter season Saturday.
In Knoxville, approximately two inches fell, as it did in Indianola. Pella received approximately 1.5″ as well. Higher totals were reported south of Highway 92 throughout most of the region.
Many roads in the county were slick Saturday into Sunday morning. Much more seasonal conditions are expected, as temperatures will warm up over the next few days, with highs in the mid-40s expected by Thanksgiving.
