Pella Christian couldn’t topple the No. 2 ranked team in Class 1A, as the Eagles fell to Montezuma on the road Tuesday night 47-44.

Mary Kate Bandstra scored 16 points, and Allison Van Gorp grabbed eight rebounds in a 13 point performance. Coach Brad Engbers says Chloe Morgan had an excellent defensive game as well.

The 0-2 Eagles are off until they open the home season in a girls-boys doubleheader on Tuesday, November 27th against ADM, which can be heard live on 92.1 KRLS.
