The Pleasantville girls’ basketball team was able to do everything they wanted and then some last night, as they blew by Eddyville-Blakesburg 50-20 in their home opener.
The Trojans opened up a 12-3 lead after the first quarter and never looked back outscoring the Rockets in every quarter. Jordan Dursky led the way with 11 points and Taylor Clark was also in double figures with 10. Carlie Sloan chipped in with seven points and Sydnee McKinney added six.
Pleasantville improves to 2-0 on the young season and looks to stay unbeaten Monday when they host Twin Cedars.
