Shop Local Small Business Saturday is tomorrow, with the Indianola Chamber of Commerce urging residents to stay home in Indianola to do their holiday shopping.

Chamber President Brenda Easter tells KNIA News it will be worth the effort to make your way around to all the local stores.

“Make your list. Put every name that you are going to be shopping and purchasing a gift for, and make an intentional effort to find that item right here in Indianola. The rustique Iowa homespun holiday market, the shops on the square, those that are not on the square, make sure you are visiting everybody.”

The KNIA Big Red Radio will be on location on the downtown square from 9am to 3pm playing holiday music and making announcements.
