The Simpson Storm men’s basketball team has recovered and won four in a row after a season opening disappointment to Bethany Lutheran, and have shown no trouble in recovering from losing the MVP of the American Rivers Conference Sam Amsbaugh to graduation.

Conor Riordan has shown he can handle the scoring load with a 23 point per game average, and John Barbee and Adam Reiter have been much improved as well with 13 points per game apiece. The Storm will have one more game before opening up conference play, on Sunday at Millikin of Illinois.
