A fundraiser this weekend will support a group aiming to bring a dog park to the Pella community.

Christy Dykstra is president of the Pella Dog Park Association; she tells KRLS News the non-profit organization is gathering community support to bring a dog park to the Tulip City. A soup luncheon will be held at The Loft in Pella this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with all proceeds benefiting the organization raising funds to finance the project, for which they are also seeking Pella City Council approval.
