The Pella wrestling team earned a win to open the 2018-19 season, defeating Pleasantville 58-24 in a dual meet.

Pella won 10 of the 14 varsity matches on the night, including wins by Quinn Rhamy (106), Joey Van Wyk (113), Ryan Hancock (120), Isaac Held (126), Ryan Van Donselaar (138), Cole Bisbee (145), Ben Hones (160), Denzel Poulter (182), Braydon Peterson (220), and Tyler VanderMolen (Heavyweight). Pleasantville earned wins from Cael Lester (170), Dalton Turner (152), Nolan Roff (132), and Daniel Kenyon (195). Both Pella and Pleasantville return to action Saturday at the Montezuma Invitational.
