In a low scoring affair, the Pleasantville girls’ basketball team did enough to defeat Marion County foe Twin Cedars 32-23 last night in a makeup game.

Both teams struggled to find much offense and it was a three point game with five minutes left before the Trojans pulled away for the nine point win. Josie Hutchings and Jordan Dursky paced the victorious Trojans with 12 points each to improve to 4-0 on the season. Brooke Roby connected four times from long range to lead the Sabers with 14 points, who fell to 1-3. Pleasantville will travel to Panorama on Tuesday while Twin Cedars hosts Murray tonight for a girl boy doubleheader. The Pleasantville boys’ host Woodward Academy for their home opener this evening.
