The Pleasantville and Twin Cedars girls’ basketball teams meet tonight for a Marion County showdown.

The Trojans have rolled to a 2-0 start to the young season on the strength of their defense, only allowing an average of 28 points per contest. Production has come from all over with five players averaging at least seven points a game led by Carlie Sloan and Taylor Foley with 8.5. After falling in their opener, the Sabers are coming off of a 42-32 victory over Orient-Macksburg last week. Haley Hoch has looked sharp in the early going averaging 9.5 points per game.

The area matchup gets started at 7:30 p.m. tonight in Pleasantville.
