Many a winner has been crowned at the Knoxville Raceway, but today the track itself is the winner.

At the 7th annual Race Track Business Conference in Indianapolis, the Knoxville Raceway was selected as the Outstanding Facility of the Year for 2018.

The yearly industry conference is held for the owners and operators of race tracks all across the country, at every level of motor sports.

Wednesday’s conference is one of several events in and around the Indiana Convention Center, which are part of what’s recognized as the biggest week of the year for the business side of racing.
