No injuries are reported from a fuel spill at a Knoxville gas station on Friday morning.

Firefighters were called to the Casey’s General Store at 1007 North Lincoln Street around 10:30 a.m. after a customer accidentally opened up a pump which was not intended for use.

Around nine gallons of fuel spilled onto the ground, and all pumps were shut off; none of the fuel caught fire, and firefighters were able to wash down the area.

The store was soon able to resume regular operations, but with some gas pumps out of service as a precaution.
