Warren County residents wishing to leave the country will need a passport to do so, and one can be applied for in the County Recorder’s office.

Warren County Recorder Polly Glascock tells KNIA News often times people think obtaining a passport is a difficult process but you really only need some proof of identity items.

“You really only need your birth certificate, a driver’s license or other form of valid ID, and a form of payment to pay the fee. You can print out the forms and fill them out beforehand, but make sure to use

Glascock also said it takes 4-6 weeks to get a passport approved and sent out, so plan ahead if you plan to leave the country.
