With all basketball teams having some time this winter break to work on their weaknesses, the Pleasantville girls’ basketball team will use this opportunity to focus on the offense.
Defensively, there hasn’t been much to complain about for the Trojans, as they have given up just 35 points a night that ranks fourth in the West Central Conference. The 7-4 Trojans haven’t been as consistent offensively, averaging 37 points a game that is ninth in the league. Head Coach Aaron Fichter tells KNIA Sports a lot of offensive drills are in the plans in the next several days.
“We have to continue to get shots up in practice and do skill work. We have to be more aggressive in the half court and also push the ball better.”
