Any Indianola residents hoping to celebrate the new year by lighting off fireworks can do so today during a specific time period.

Normally, the City of Indianola restricts the lighting of fireworks inside city limits, however fireworks are allowed from 9:30am today until 12:30am tomorrow. Fireworks are also allowed on July 3rd, 4th, and 5th inside city limits.
