The Pella City Council will lay the groundwork for the upcoming budget at their meetings this month and next.
Assistant City Administrator Corey Goodenow tells KRLS News the council will discuss quality-of-life and infrastructure projects to include in the Fiscal Year 2020 budget plan, with presentations scheduled at two sessions this month to go in depth on key initiatives, including:
January 8:
Kiwanis Miracle Park
Dog Park
St. Mary’s Catholic Church Gravel Road Conversion
Downtown Parking
Budget Priority Survey for Council
January 15:
City Facility Needs Assessment (Library, Public Safety, Community Center)
Pella Municipal Airport Transition Plan
Telecommunications Utility Business Plan
