Iowa DOT Plow on Mile Long Bridge at 8 p.m.

Travel will likely remain difficult this morning as snow moves out of the area.

Iowa DOT and Marion County plows will continue to work through the day to clear area highways as windy conditions will blow around much of the snow that has fallen in the region. Several events scheduled today have been cancelled or moved due to the conditions.

Marion County Engineer Tyler Christian reminds all drivers to use extra caution and slow down to create a safer environment for plows as they work on area roads.

Dangerous wind chills are expected tonight through Sunday morning, as they will dip well-below zero. Stay tuned to 92.1 KRLS for the latest winter weather information.
