Weather permitting, the PCM boys’ basketball team will cap off a brutal week against the two-time class 1A defending state champions Grand View Christian today at Gilbert.

The Thunder have picked up right where they left off last year sitting at 13-1 on the season and averaging 78 points a night. Mustang head coach Fred Lorensen tells KRLS Sports Grand View Christian is loaded.

“They have some really outstanding division one type players. It will be a really big challenge for us. We are going to just go out there, play hard, and see what we can do.”

The Mustangs hit the court for game one of the tournament starting at noon today at Gilbert High School.
