A cold second half once again doomed the Indianola boys basketball team Saturday against conference rival Norwalk in a 75-66 defeat, while the girls cruised to a 48-34 win over the warriors.

The Indianola boys led by two at halftime, but much like their first contest against the Warriors could not make enough shots in the second half to pick up the win. Evan Gauger scored 23 to lead the Indians, while AJ Toigo (Tie-go) scored 15. The Indians fall to 10-3 on the season, and 5-3 in conference play. The Indians girls got up early and continued to lead the rest of the way against the Warriors, and Mara Bishop led the way with 14 points while Kendall Clatt scored 13. With the win, the girls improve to 7-6 overall and 5-3 in Little Hawkeye Conference play. Both Indians teams will host Pella on Tuesday.
