For just about every sports team in Iowa the last couple weeks, competitions and practices have been few and far between with so many cancellations.

With the weather showing no signs of slowing down and cancellations continuing to pile up, head coach of the PCM girls basketball team Jeff Lindsay tells KRLS Sports his squad is just rolling with the punches and has responded well.

“The girls have kept their energy when we have been able to have practices. Friday was the first time we played in 10 days and the girls were really excited to get back on the court and played really well.”

The Mustangs defeated Greene County 51-35 on Friday night. PCM has already added two more cancellations to their list of games this week with last night and this evening being called off. They will try to get back in action Thursday at Saydel.
