Indianola Hometown Pride is hosting their second annual Organization Summit this evening, attempting to bring together the leaders of Indianola’s 70+ service organizations and share current projects.
Board Chair of Indianola Hometown Pride Emmett Conrad tells KNIA News this plan for this meeting is to start a dialogue with all the service groups to cooperate better in the future.
“We want to try and get all the representatives from different groups together on a regular basis, maybe quarterly, to try and talk about all the different projects coming up and going on. That’s what this organization summit is going to be about, what do you need help with from us and we are going to be doing some things so we are going to be asking for help too.”
The Organization Summit will take place at The Groggy Dog on the downtown Indianola square from 5:30 to 6:30pm, with everyone welcome to attend.
