A fundraiser for The Well will serve as a prelude to the opening of the organization’s new location in Knoxville.

Waffles for the Well in Knoxville will be held on Sunday, February 17th from 7:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Dyer-Hudson Hall, at 1000 North Lincoln Street in Knoxville. Proceeds will go towards supporting their new location, and providing more information to potential users.

The Well is opening up a new ministry inside the Events Center at 404 West Pleasant Street; it will include ministry services and a thrift store. The Well has had a number of clients in Knoxville over the years, providing referrals to social service agencies as well as spiritual guidance.

Jayson Henry is executive director for The Well; he says they are looking forward to establishing their new location and forming partnerships to help provide services to those in need.
