Mothers, grandmothers, aunts, family friends,and sons can gather together for the Mother N Son Night O Fun hosted by Indianola Parks and Rec on February 9th at the Indianola YMCA.
Kathy Kester with Indianola Parks and Rec tells KNIA News boys age 5-12 can bring in a mother figure for a night full of activities.
“We always had a daddy-daughter dance so we thought we would have something fun to do for mothers and sons this year and bring about a new event. We’ll have kayaking and swimming in the pool so bring your swimsuit. We’ll also have laser tag, nerf wars, giant trike races, and a naughty nails project with a dinner from Hy-Vee so we are planning on having so much fun.”
You must be registered to attend the event, which closes on February 1st. Cost to attend is $20 per adult, and $15 per child, and the event runs from 6-8pm. Find a link to register below.
