Another round of winter precipitation is expected today after several snow storms have recently impacted the region.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the area through early Wednesday morning. According to the National Weather Service, mixed precipitation including freezing rain, sleet, and snow are all possible throughout the day. In the warned area, anywhere from three to six inches of snow is possible by early Wednesday. Additionally, a widespread glaze of ice is expected, with accumulations up to .15” in the forecast, likely coming during the day today. Many roads will likely be difficult to travel though early Wednesday morning if frozen precipitation falls. Another burst of arctic air is expected Thursday and Friday with wind chills dropping below zero.
