Area students who earned a Division “I” rating at the district competitions last week will be competing at the State Large Group Competition tomorrow. Indianola High School is sending a host of students and acts to compete at WDM Valley High School, including Codey Gillespie and Elliot Magahaes performing “Dust and Blood”, and freshmen Sophie Nelson, Bailee Ellis, and Christina Price performing “The View from Here” among others. Pleasantville is sending the groups of Choral Reading, Improv Stone, and Readers Theatre to Cedar Rapids Kennedy High School joined alongside Melcher-Dallas who is sending Group Mime, Reader’s Theater, TV News, Radio News, and Group Improv.
