PCM will send ten wrestlers to the class 2A district next Saturday as the Mustangs won six championships, but it was Carlisle who won the team title by 11.5 points. The Mustang’s champions include Peyton Drake at 120 pounds, Colby Tool at 145, Wes Cummings at 160, Jarron Trausch at 170, Lucas Roland at 182, and Jace Smith at 285. Runner ups are Landon Fenton at 113 pounds, Brian Nicholson at 126, Cody Wallace at 152, and Seth Greiner at 220 pounds. Knoxville’s best finish was four third place finishes turned in by Gabe Gordon at 126 pounds, Nash Linsley at 152 pounds, Coby Meyer at 182, and Ryan Baker at 195. All ten of the PCM wrestlers will advance to the district on Saturday in Knoxville and with their second place finish in the team standings…the Mustangs clinch a spot in the regional team duals Tuesday in Atlantic. PCM will wrestle Harlan while Carlisle will take on Humboldt.
