Multiple agencies responded to a structure fire at 1196 Illinois Drive shortly before noon Saturday.

Knoxville Township Rural Fire Chief Kenny Thompson tells KNIA/KRLS News the building was empty, no one was injured, and the cause of the fire was electrical.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Knoxville Rescue, the Pella Rural Fire Department, Pleasantville Emergency Services, and the Monroe Fire Department assisted.
