What a weekend it was for the Pleasantville wrestling team, as they hosted a class 1A sectional and blew by the competition.

The Trojans claimed the title with 191 points to advance to regional duals and Colfax-Mingo came in second with 183 points. Six individuals punched their ticket to districts on Saturday including first place finishes from Cael Lester at 160lbs, Daniel Kenyon at 195lbs, Cale Anthony at 220lbs, and Matthew Kauffman at 285lbs. Devon Luing at 106lbs and Kitt Lundy at 126lbs also advanced with second place finishes.

The Trojans now gear up for regional duals at I-35 tomorrow where they face off with the Roadrunners in the first round. If they win that they would match up with Logan-Magnolia or Southeast Warren with a trip to state duals on the line.
